Hello everyone, how nice of you to end up at my website and work.

My name is Marc Hollenberg and i am a passionate photographer in photographing landscapes/nature.
I was born in 1979 in the city of Alkmaar in the Netherlands and I grew up on the countryside
of the North/west region of Holland.
My father was a painting artist and at the time i was 6 years old i was joining my father with
painting some art once in a while.
At that time i became interested in seeing pictures and creating something.

I lost maby for a while my interest in art ( photographic art ) between the age of 10 to 20
but after my schooltime i became a carpenter and in the year of 1999.
i worked in many different places and it seems that the interest was coming back a little bit
in seeing art/photography.
Each time i was inspired by the beautiful landscapes that I drove through when i was getting to my workplaces.
In the beginning I was especially interested in the beautiful sunrises and sunsets that were often there.

So I bought a camera, and here began my photographic journey and passion.
In ther beginning i was shoting a lot of landscapes and sunrises but after a while I started shooting more things like city lights at night and water reflections for example.
Meanwhile, many years later, i've exhibited a lot,
done assignments for various people and practiced corporate photography.
In the years 2009 to 2016 I photographed many polder landscapes and city nights in Noord-Holland.

Over the years I've immersed myself in how to handle the camera and learn from mistakes by talking to other professional photographers. But i also managed to improve my qualities of the photo itself.
Over the past 3 years I have also been increasingly involved in filming and
editing and I'm having a lot of fun with this!

At the moment I live in Sweden and regularly travel through Scandinavia to photograph the most beautiful places.
lately i'm quite interested in astrophotography and northern light photography in combination
with taking timelapse movie from it.
